the challenge
Rapid industrial and population growth in Samut Sakhon drove household and industrial demand far beyond the old system. A new plant had to be delivered in time for that growth.
what we delivered
Raw-water works and a 96,000 m³/day plant at Bang Phae, Ratchaburi, supplying Mueang Samut Sakhon, with two booster stations and full mechanical, electrical and automation systems.
how it was built
Mae Klong raw-water intake into the plant, then transmission by open-cut, HDD and pipe jacking over 74 km — 30 km GRP, 2 km steel and 42 km HDPE.
Impact
Enough production capacity for current demand and continued economic expansion.
10,000 m³ clear-water reservoir
Sedimentation tank, 1,000 m³/hr
Filter house, 4,000 m³/hr
