the challenge
As an education and growth hub, Mahasarakham’s population and water demand rose yearly. Existing production could not keep up, so capacity had to expand in time.
what we delivered
Raw-water station at 186,400 m³/day, new 48,000 m³/day plant, Borabue, Nong Jik and Kantharawichai distribution stations, 500 m³ tower, existing-plant upgrade, plus mechanical, electrical and automation works.
how it was built
Chi River intake with sheet-pile excavation, new 48,000 m³/day plant, three distribution stations, slip-form elevated tower, and mains by open-cut, HDD and pipe jacking.
Impact
Enough added capacity to meet demand, with higher quality from the upgraded existing plant.
