the challenge
Produce reliable potable water from a constrained raw-water source for three growing provinces — Ratchaburi, Samut Songkhram and Samut Sakhon — without interrupting customers during the upgrade.
what we delivered
Raw-water system at 38,400 m³/day, Khao Ngu plant at 18,000 m³/day, distribution stations at Ko Phlapphla, Lak Mueang, Bang Phae, PWA Ratchaburi office, Pho Hak, Damnoen Saduak 1–2 and Nang Takhian, plus M&E and automation.
how it was built
Mae Klong raw-water caisson intake, then transmission to the 18,000 m³/day plant by open-cut, HDD and pipe jacking — 113 km HDPE, 3.4 km steel, 5.2 km PVC and 2 km A/C.
Impact
Added production and distribution capacity for urban and economic growth across three provinces, strengthening household water security.
